The Delegated Authority for McDonald Lake held a public hearing on June 4, 2026 to review the 2026-2033 special assessment roll and computation of costs for the McDonald Lake – Lake Level. Following the public hearing, the Delegated Authority presented the special assessment roll and computation of costs to the Schoolcraft County Board of Commissioners for final approval. The Board of Commissioners approved the special assessment roll and computation of costs on June 25, 2026

The Indian Lake Authority Board will host the second quarter authority board meeting on June 10, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. at the Schoolcraft County Courthouse (300 Walnut St., Manistique, MI 49854). Please see the attached agenda below.

The Gulliver Lake Authority will hold a special meeting on June 15, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at Doyle Township Hall (1159N North Gulliver Rd, MI 49840). The public is invited to attend this public meeting and participate as permitted under the Michigan Open Meetings Act. The purpose of this special meeting is to consider a resolution for an interim borrowing; conduct any applicable administrative tasks (e.g., pay bills); and address any matter that may come before the Lake Authority

The lake level special assessment roll lists the parcels included in the 2026-2027 McDonald Lake special assessment and their assessment amounts. The computation of costs is the breakdown of costs that the assessment will pay for. The total cost is the total amount assessed to property owners.
